Dear Boston,

Panificio Back Bay had quite an exciting month here in the Back Bay. We helped set a Guinness Book of World Records record! We have received all kinds of press, and there are many exciting things happening here at the restaurant.

Spags, Sully and Vooch were so proud to be asked to have Panificio Back Bay participate in this years Life is Good Pumpkin Festival. Vooch cooked soup and made 'Turkey Terrific' Thanksgiving Wraps around the clock. Spags spent an all nighter in the Bakery making thousands of Pumpkin Chocolate Chip & Blueberry Cobbler Cookies. And Sully and his Waltham High School Wrestling team worked the all day soup stand on Boston Common.

After slinging soup for hours into the night, Panificio Back Bay was able to donate a check in the amount of $2000.00 to Life is Good's Charity Camp Sunshine!! Camp Sunshine is a retreat for children with life-threatening illness and their families. We are very proud that we could help and contribute.

It was an honor to be apart of something so cool. We were all amazed and humbled by such a great event. Wow, 30,128 Carved Pumpkins in one place!! Great work Bert and John! Thanks for making us all feel the joy of being a kid for one special day.
We have teamed up with some friends over at WEEI & WRKO and recorded our first commercial. Keep an ear out for it this fall. It was pretty cool recording in the studio. Spags and Sully had delusions of becoming rock stars!

We at Panificio Back Bay are excited to be in the neighborhood and reviving a city block in the heart of Boston. We have created 40 new part and full time jobs in the City!

We are eagerly pursuing a Beer and Wine License to better serve all of you. We thank you for your continued support, and we are confident that the city will reward us for our effort. David Boeri of Channel 5 recently came by to ask us about our Bakery Bistro. They got Spags and Sully's good side on this Newscast!

Panificio Back Bay got our first International press in a recent article in USA Today! You can check that our here ~ in USA Today.
Aside from the every day celebrities that frequent our place, we were proud to host a lunch for Fallon Community that had the voice of the Red Sox, Joe Costiglione as their keynote speaker. Our neighbor Travis Roy has also been in quite often and raves about Chef Vooch's Braised Short Rib Gnocchi.
