Local is the New Imported!

Since we opened our doors in 1996, Panificio Bistro and Bakery has become one of Beacon Hill’s favorite restaurants, bringing a traditional European feel to a classic Boston neighborhood.

We serve Charles Street’s most delicious bistro selections, from soup and salad to pizza, paninis, salmon, and chicken. You’ll also find a full beer and wine menu. Panificio serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Brunch is served on weekends.

At Panificio, we enhance the flavor of our menu by using locally-sourced native ingredients. We buy most of our produce, when in season, from area farms. Local companies provide other supplies, including Spindrift soda, made in Charlestown, and lobsters caught off the Manchester coast with the help of our manager.

We prepare nearly everything in-house, including low-fat breakfast sausage, meatballs, lean corned beef, crunchy dill pickles, and tangy sauerkraut. We bake our own focaccia, pastries, and most of our own desserts in our kitchen.

At Panificio, “farm to table” is more than a catchphrase—it’s how we’ve become one of Beacon Hill’s favorite restaurants.
